This project revitalizes the entrance of the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering, BUET, giving it a distinct identity within a shared multi-department building.

The previously neglected space under the staircase was transformed into a focal point of functionality and design. One side now features creatively designed shelves for displaying books and departmental items, while the other side houses a unique seating area that invites interaction and relaxation.

At the heart of the renovation is a striking artwork that represents the department’s focus and celebrates the contributions of its students. This thoughtful design establishes a strong visual identity for the department, making the entrance both functional and memorable.
