This project is a small seating deck located on the roof of Shaheed Smriti Hall at BUET, D.

The construction was a hands-on initiative, completed in just four working days with a modest budget of BDT 45,000. The deck features a metal structure with a mesh covering on the sides and top, complemented by a marine plywood deck surface. The mesh design was intentionally chosen to allow climbing plants to grow over it, creating a lush green canopy over time, which has now fully materialized.

This project stands out for its simplicity and effectiveness, offering a cozy and functional space on a limited budget while showcasing the potential of greenery to transform a utilitarian structure into a serene, natural retreat.
