Set amidst the tranquility of a lush village landscape, this residence is designed for a devout Muslim family comprising elderly parents and their two adult sons, along with provisions for their future families. The home is conceived as a serene retreat rooted in faith, family, and community — balancing traditional values with a contemporary architectural expression.
The design organizes spaces around communal living and spiritual reflection. The ground floor accommodates generous gathering areas that can adapt to host occasional religious talks for neighbors and well-wishers, reinforcing the family’s close relationship with the surrounding community. Large arched openings and shaded verandas create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, encouraging natural ventilation and soft daylight throughout the home.
Architecturally, the house merges modern minimalism with subtle traditional references, seen in its rhythmic arches, recessed brick detailing, and calm white façade. The interplay of solid and void, light and shadow, evokes a sense of peace — a reflection of both spiritual devotion and familial harmony.
